I can not recommend Sony Dive Center enough!! Women owned and operated dive shop, and it shows. Organized, safe, thorough, and taking really good care of the equipment. Sony Dive Center didn't originally come up in my guide books or reddit searches, but I'm really glad I went with them. Juliana was my instructor guide and was so incredibly professional. Such a strong, confident and clear communicator, both in and out of the water. The last time I dove was over 9 years prior so I needed a big refresh, and I had a lot of anxiety. Juliana was so patient with me and was thorough in making sure I was comfortable and safe. What a great teacher! She was so knowledgeable for all things diving, fluent in both Spanish and English. She reassured me every step of the way and I had such a blast on two tank dives. All equipment was provided including a wetsuit. Some other sites I was inquiring with didn't have wetsuits so I liked that Sony did. They also lent me a dive computer which I had never had the opportunity to use before, so that was cool. Juliana also had a GoPro camera and took really great photos and videos during our dives and shared them with me afterwards. The two dive sites were truly some of the most beautiful reefs I've ever seen. I dove in both Cartagena and Taganga on my trip to Colombia, and Taganga was my favorite. The biggest Brain Coral in the world, with incredibly biodiverse reefs. I had a few moments where time stood still, because the reefs were so breathtakingly beautiful. Low-key a spiritual experience!! Absolutely a bucket list must see. Don't hesitate, book your dives !!!!

Te guían con toda la paciencia del mundo, gracias Nataly 🫶🏼 Profesionales de principio a fin, desde que los contactas hasta que termina la experiencia. Con ganas de volver a bucear con ellos la próxima vez que regrese a Santa Marta. ¡Super recomendados!

Carlos natalie and daisy were great instructors. Very knowledgeable , clear and helpful team . Good dive sites with big range of fish . Just take sea sickness tablets as sites can be choppy

Juliana war eine super Tauchlehrerin! Sie war sehr organisiert, professionell und kannte die lokalen Gegebenheiten bestens. Die Kursinhalte hat sie seriös und verständlich vermittelt, gleichzeitig blieb immer genug Zeit, die Unterwasserwelt zu geniessen. Sie vermittelt teilweise sogar Wissen über den obligatorischen Kursinhalt hinaus, zum Beispiel zu Technik, Theorie und Meeresschutz. Dabei erklärt sie solche Themen nicht nur theoretisch, sondern zeigt sie direkt während der Tauchgänge – zum Beispiel Mikroplastik im Meer sowie das Sammeln von Abfall und Fischerleinen. Ihr Englisch ist sehr gut, wodurch die Kommunikation jederzeit problemlos war. Nach meinem Open Water Kurs habe ich mit Juliana und Sony noch einen Fun Dive gemacht, der ebenfalls eine tolle Erfahrung war. Ich kann Juliana als Tauchlehrerin sehr weiterempfehlen.

Amazing, loved the dive and the team was super nice. Would also recommend for people going diving for the first time, as my friend he had a great experience and felt super safe. Also great communication on WhatsApp beforehand would totally recommend
